Steve Spingola A life in Law Enforment

A 2001 graduate of the FBI National Academy, Spingola holds two masters degrees. He is also a death investigation’s expert, a police related shooting reconstruction specialist, and has formal training in criminal investigative analysis (profiling).

Prior to his retirement as a lieutenant of detectives with the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), Spingola supervised all major categories of criminal investigations, including stints in the Homicide Unit, Vice Control Division, Sensitive Crimes Unit, and Violent Crimes Division. He further served as the lead investigator for the Critical Incident Unit, a group that probes police related shootings, use-of-force incidents, and other significant events. As a detective, Spingola spent several years conducting death investigations for a homicide unit with one of the highest clearance rates in the country.

Spingola’s role in academia is that of the coordinator of Criminal Justice Studies for Gateway Technical College and an adjunct professor of criminal justice and security management for Waukesha County Technical College and Marian University.

Then The Ice Pick Comes on!

You guys know I am a big film fan love film and talking about them,

Thank God I know others who share my enjoyment, I had one on

Martin Kessier who like me is a fan of Pre code film and Gangster films, this was dangerous

We did two shows

With the use of a poll via Twitter, I found that there was great interest in more shows on true crime in Hollywood from Murders to Mob involvement in film making as well in the history of the studios

So I will do more of this time of show on Blog Talk Radio  but not use a new twitter or Blog hell I do not do a good job with this!

Shall be fun bring more stories of true perhaps even strange crime to you all!

Podcast and Reviews!

Had a request to do a Podcast, and I love love them. Not trying to compete with any of the ones in existence, so many great ones now, in no shape matter or form am I aiming to do that.

What ours will do is more on the lines of interviewing Authors, Film Makers, Stars of Books/Comics/Film Makers/Hosts etc of the media on the Mob, to help in (if only my) gaining knowage on this subject.

Will also cover the History of Southeastern Wisconsin as it applies to this subject.

Of course I will have to go to the many fine Italian Restaurants in South Eastern Wisconsin and Northern IL and report back to you!

What I do not do for the Members of The Milwaukee Mob!

Just sent me a copy of your Book, Film, or let me know you like to be on the air and we will make that happen.

The platform used will be Blog Talk Radio with the low cost 30 min show, an easy show to do but with no bells or fancy stuff.

If the Podcast takes off or sponsorship come in we would expand the show to a new platform that would allow more cool tools to be added.

Know too I will be reviewing Books/Films as asked on the Facebook Live I do for The Milwaukee Mob

There will be no charge to be on the Podcast or to be  reviewed on Facebook Live

A donation be great BUT NOT NECESSARY! Your sending me a copy of a Book, Film etc is a way a donation, but feel free to do so.

Email is themilwaukeemob@gmail.com

Thanks

The Milwaukee Mob

The Milwaukee Mob is my effort to look at the history of the Mob, in the city of Milwaukee and S.E. Wisconsin  from about 1900 to 1975 (or about), be doing so using Film, Podcasting, and history based interactions with reactors. (I.E. theme parties)

I will also look how the actions of the Mob in Milwaukee are still playing out today, with examples from the effort to bring a casino to Kenosha when Jim Doyle was Governor of Wisconsin

Will be using public records, interviews with those involved, news accounts.

As we will be taking/using photos of historical and if needed take them from public sidewalks but in NO WAY will we do any stick a camera in the face of someone or trespass, our aim is to be respectful at all times.

We hope to post content one a week, if not more often. We will be adding a lot in the next few days.

Thank You

Wayne Clingman
